KATHERINE DZENGELEWSKI

I'm Katherine!  I hold Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College and Lesley University.  My particular interest in the Reggio Emilia approach led me to further my education by traveling to Reggio Emilia, Italy, and studying at the Loris Malaguzzi Institute, where I had the opportunity to observe and study at some of the most world renowned preschools. Since then, I have had the great privilege of teaching at schools in the U.S. and Singapore for the past 10 years.  Through my studies and teaching, I have gained experience with the Montessori Method, the Reggio Emilia Approach, Boston Public Schools,  the IB PYP curriculum, and the Charlotte Mason philosophy.  I recently began homeschooling my own children, and have had a dream of opening my own school that combines the best of what I have learned from my various teaching experiences.  Tamworth Village Homeschool is that school, and I am so excited to share that dream with you and your children.
